R. Hugh Lumpkin
R. Hugh Lumpkin, born in San Tome, Venezuela October 16, 1955, received his B.A. from Duke University in 1977 and his J.D. from The University of Miami in 1980. He is admitted to the Florida Bar, U.S. District Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Lumpkin joined the firm in February 1999. He has written extensively on a variety of insurance coverage issues and has appeared as a frequent lecturer for the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association and a number of other organizations which provide educational and business opportunities to professionals. His practice consists of representing policyholders in evaluating, settling and litigating insurance claims filed in the state and federal court, as well as appellate practice.
