For more than 20 years, attorney Brenton N. Ver Ploeg practiced insurance litigation at Miami's oldest law firm, mainly representing insurance companies. In 1995, he founded this firm, which is dedicated solely to representing policyholders. Four years later, he was joined in the practice by attorney R. Hugh Lumpkin, who had extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage and appellate representation.
Ver Ploeg & Lumpkin, P.A., has since grown to include more than 20 attorneys and a large staff of certified paralegals and legal secretaries. We draft an internal brief that will guide our work throughout the legal process. Parts of the document may later be incorporated into motions or other legal documents. Our thorough and early preparation often allows us to anticipate the opponents' tactics, rather than merely reacting to them.
